Free Digital Stamps

   Posted by: Tidbit   in

What are digital stamps? Well, they are sort of like traditional ‘rubber’ stamps. The images are one color – black on a transparent background or black on white, and they have the feel of a traditional stamp. But rather than stamping them on something using an ink pad, you print them out. Because they are transparent, you can print them out on any paper you wish and they will look like a stamped image on that paper.

But unlike traditional stamps you can use a graphics program to resize your stamp (if it is too big or too small), or change the color of the stamp (or even just parts of it) to any you want, or even to combine stamps into one larger graphic. You can also use them on digital scrapbook pages to give them a more traditional ‘paper and scissors’ feel. Lots of creative possibilities!

!These images are (at least) 300 dpi transparent .pngs and they are made from public domain graphics. Thus they are free to use, even in works to be sold. No attribution is necessary (but would be nice!) if you share a picture or other info on a project using these.

Click on an image to see it / download it full-sized, and enjoy!
