Okay, we missed most of the Opening Ceremonies (I have to see if I can watch parts of it online – especially the James Bond bit), but thanks to my friend Blue (Thank you! Thank you!) and the purchase of a universal remote, we at least have broadcast channels. Once we get hooked up to satellite TV, we’ll have all the other stuff, but at least I can watch the main broadcast of the Olympics.
Bliss, bliss, bliss!
And the TARDIS socks I am knitting for my daughter during the Olympics (for the Ravellenic Games on Ravelry.com) look like they will turn out pretty cool:

TARDIS Socks – my first attempt at color work. Might actually turn out like I hoped! (Already had to “tink” twice!) (tink=take out a short bit of knitting on a project to fix a mistake – tink=knit backwards)
Peace,
Bekka
